Andy MacDonald has to one of the nicest guys you'll meet. He's always smiling and talking to his fans while he produces some amazing art. He is also very willing to talk to you about the supplies he uses and techniques.
Here are 3 amazing pictures I am lucky to own. Danger, Armor and Marrow. I love them all. Danger is off the hook though lol.

If you ever get a chance to get a piece by Andy, I totally recommend it. You won't be let down.
But don't take my word for it. Check out these great pieces of art and see for yourself ;)

Holly Mongi

holly holly holly. you are so talented!!

holly is a good friend i met at the new york anime-con and got to know better on deviant art.

holly has an awesome style and uses alot of different mediums. my favorite being her use of watercolors. she has such great control and makes her images so beautiful.

i've had the pleasure of getting 3 amazing pieces from her. the first one i got was of pixie, the resident happy-go-lucky party girl. i thought holly would be perfect for this character.

the second piece i
got was at this last year's anime-con and i went to the opposite extreme and got the x-men brooding lethal assassin, x-23. again, holly delivered with f
lying colors. i knew she would.

third, and definitely not least, i got a beautiful psylocke in her armored costume from the late 80's. and though i love pixie and x-23, psylocke is by far my favorite. she is so gorgeous and the colors are amazing. she knocked her out of the park.

i definitely want to get more from holly and you should get something from her as well. well, here are all of my commission i've gotten from holly. check out holly's work at:

Reilly Brown

Reilly Brown has got to be one of the nicest artist I have ever met. He is very down to earth and open to talking to fans and collectors.

I first met Reilly in 2006 at the Pittsburgh Comicon. I remember passing by his table several times and liking his art. I wasnt familiar with his work at that point. He was very friendly and I got an awesome Kitty Pryde Sketch from him. I love the Kitty Pryde. She has a very cool look about her.

I saw him a couple of times after that at cons but was never able to get his list.

At the Big Apple Con this past October, he was sitting one table down. So I had to jump up and get on his list. At the Big Apple Con, I got Dagger. She and Cloak had just been in the Dark X-MEN and had just became full fledge X-MEN. He did an awesome job on her. One of my favorite from the con.

Reilly has worked on several books for Marvel over his career, including Cable and Deadpool, New Warriors, and the Incrediblr Hercules.

Jonboy Meyers

I had the honor oof meeting Jonboy Meyers at the Big Apple Con in October. He was unfortunately booked up but i was able to commission him from home. As you know, i get x-women and he said he's love to draw Rogue in her new costume. Who am I to refuse lol. Look how fricking awesome she turned out.
Jonboy has worked on alot of my favorite book including Danger Girl and X-MEN. He recently just finished the second GeneXt arch and I believe he is going to be working on She-Hulk soon.

Khary Rudolph

well, i first got a look at khary rudolph's style and art on deviant art. i had the opportunity to sit across from from him at nycc 3 years, but i wasnt able to talk to him. fortunatley for me, i had the opportunity to talk to him at mocca this past year and commissined him to draw lilandra, magisterix of the shi'ar empire and friend of the x-men. she turned out gorgeous.

at the big apple con, i got to see khary again, and asked him to draw on of my favorite x-men not being used, lifeguard. she has so much potential. her body reacts instinctively to guard her and others from harm. how cooler can you get? she also has shapeshifted into a royal shi'ar to escape capture once, but the shift has been held awhile. she has since returned to an almost human appearance with wings and talons. she was last seen as a member of the x-corporation. she needs to return to the x-men and soon! and of course, khary knocked this out of the park.

khary has been a an artist responsible for wolverine and the x-men, in my opinion, the best x-men cartoon to date. i have to say, i'm in love with his take on psylocke!

Mike Choi

so i had the priviliedge twice to get an awesome commission by mike choi. mike started off in the industry working for top cow and had i great run on witchblade. he has recently been drawing for marvel specifically x-men related books, which you know i love.

when i first commissioned him, he was drawing x-force so i had to get one of the ladies from the book. i gave him the choice between x-23 and domino and he choose domino stating he had never been asked to draw her at a con. she turned out great.

i then saw him at the big apple con last weekend and pixie was on my list to get so i asked him to draw her. i saw him draw her in a sketch he posted on deviant art. he was practicing drawing the characters pixie, armor and anole. his pixie and so cute! well, mine turned out s much better than that one and i'm so pleased with how she turned out.

Psylocke by Joe Pekar

I had the honor of meeting and getting this awesome painting by the talented Joe Pekar at the Pittsburgh Comicon. I've been watching Joe on Deviant Art for years and I was happy to know he would be at Pittsburgh.

So as you know, I have an X-WOMAN theme when i get sketches, so I told him to pick whoever he wanted.

I was completely shocked when seeing this awesome piece of art come across the table. It was so beautiful and the colors of this scan doesn't begin to say what they say in real life. They are so bright and brilliant. So who should i get from him next?
